Payment TETE JUMEAU-Antique French Doll - 22 inches Click to View Image Album Payment TETE JUMEAU-Antique French Doll - 22 inches Click to View Image Album Tete Jumeau Antique French Doll § 22 inch circa 1885 - 1899 Antique Tete Jumeau French doll on French papier-mâché and wood body stands 22 inches tall. The head is stamped "Depose", Tete Jumeau;Bte SGDG;10 and some painted marks. There are no hairlines in the bisque. There are a few wig pulls at the ridge of the head. Her blue paperweight eyes are in their original set. Her ears are pierced and there is a very small chip on the ear hole on the right ear. Her painting is very nice with the Jumeau brown eyebrows. Her body is in excellent condition with some chips in paint as seen in pictures and wear at the arm hole joints. It has a paper label that reads "AU Aradis Des Enfants; Paris; 15 Rue Debain. Her feet are intact with defined toes. She has jointed wrists. Her mohair wig is antique and her antique hat is made of velvet. She has several layers of clothing, pantaloons, a slip, another slip with wool bottom, handmade, and a vintage dress with tiny yellow flowers. The dress has insertion lace that has a yellow silk ribbon that ties at the back. The dress has buttons and a hook, but opens at the back. Her stockings are knitted and have a few holes that could be repaired. Her antique brown leather shoes are in very good condition. Overall, she is a very pleasant French Antique Doll by Jumeau.
